I started making soaps and cleaners in 2018.
Most of it didn’t stick.
But candles did.
Not because they smelled good, but because they felt different.
A scent could remind you of a place. A moment. A version of life that felt slower.
That was worth building around.
Before this, I worked in marketing and nonprofits.
I felt stuck.
So I changed how I lived.
Less work. More time with people I care about. More time exploring.
Travel shifted everything.
Places like Paris and Perth weren’t just trips. They changed how I paid attention.
When I came back, I wanted a way to hold onto that.
